Default Finding wider rims and rubber

Hey, my friend has a 97' integra LS, and we are currently modifying it. With this specific project, we can't put aftermarket rims on due to mod-anal parents. However, the 5.5" (i think) width rims and tires are sorely inadequate in the corners. The idea that I have is to find another car that runs the same lug pattern (4x100) as integra but that uses wider wheels. This will retain a non-modified look but will allow us a much wider contact patch.

What cars out there would be using a good wheel for this? They don't need to be big rims - 15 or 16 inches is fine, just wide - 7" or more. I was thinking that alot of sedans/family vehicles run wider tires like 7-7.5"... are there any acura sedans or such that this would work with, or other cars with that lug pattern and wider wheels?

Just throw some 205 50 15 rubber on there you'll be fine with that set up

He's got 195/50's right now i think - upping it to 205 will make the sidewall bulge out, which will decrease in performance... 'm looking for a big increase in tire width.

almost everyone on here who runs 15" uses the 205/50/15 tires. I just put some on my 95 teg, and i could easily tell the difference. There is more contact with the ground, and the handling shows that, plus, the sidewall doesn't budge out as much as u would think.
