Rear seats...
Do type R have more backseat room than 97-01 preludes? I need to know because I find my lud to be way to small in the back...Can't put nobody behind...Maybe a type R would be better...
I've been in both. Without a shadow of a doubt, the Integra has more rear room than a Prelude.
Edmunds reports the following on the ITR:
Rear Head Room: 35 in
Rear Shoulder Room: 48.8 in
Rear Hip Room: 44.1 in
Rear Leg Room: 28.1 in
and the following for the Prelude:
Rear Head Room: 35.3 in
Rear Shoulder Room: 50 in
Rear Hip Room: 41 in
Rear Leg Room: 28.1 in
While it is a tad more spacious for your upper body (Prelude's width is 69 in vs the Integra's 66.7 in, there is a considerable amount more space for the lower trunk area of the body.
Again, these figures are quoted from Edmunds.com

I own both..
I can fit about 2x as much race stuff ie tires/tools etc in the ITR than the Lude.
Headroom? I would say the ITR has substantially more. Although I haven't sat in the back of either car for quite some time because I have no backseats in either of them. The Integra can be consider a "hatchback" while the Lude is a "sport coupe"
