Incredible. I wonder what made them think they purchased a tow vehicle. I wonder if there's any drivetrain damage due to the excessive wear and tear no doubt put on it.

if those are your tags/plates on the car you might want to blur them out for securtiy reasons.

as for the hitch its a class 1 and your only able to tow up to 1000lbs, so I doubt there is any damage done to the drivetrain. the guy before you might have been a track whore and needed a place to carry the tires and extra supplies.

Wed is here, where are your pics :P

It's really not all that weird for an avid track person to use his ITR to tow a little trailer with tools and wheels on it. You'd be surprised how many people do that.

Diane even tows a little wheel/tyre trailer w/her Miata.

Well to put you all at ease the hitch did not even have the paint scratched in the receiver. I do not think it was ever used and as for track time that would mean he had to turn the ac off ( which i do not think ever happened either). The plates are gone and the Lic # useless, in Tx when a car changes hands so do the plates.. So if some one chases it back you would be in the wrong city.. As for care this car is just perfect in side and all service was done by the dealer and has a real nice paper trail ( even the oil changes).. Its raining here so unless i take the $1200 camera in the rain ( which i would be skinned alive by my wife) it will have to wait till Thurs..

We have a full time auto x car ( the yellow b16 powered CRX) so i may run her from time to time but for the most part just my daily driver.. Man the funniest thing happened today;
(((I would like to thank all of the want to be type r guys and cars out there...... =) )))
I took my 98 ITR out to the local rod run for the first time and was just paranoid about people finding out where i live to come steal the car and found the public is so misinformed that most did not know that my ITR was real or what made it real .. There are so few down here most just thought it was just a teg with some stickers.. The car did not even get a second look..
My wife drove the CRX race car which is now street legal and that thing got lots of looks ( especially from the cops).. What a joke.. It was great. :P
