Default hydrolocked engine

I was driving to a friends house after it poured tonight and i went through a huge puddle and locked up my engine. My friend towed my car to his house and now my car is sitting in my friends driveway till tommorow when my friends dad who is a mechanic is gonna look at how bad it is. I tried gettin the car to start back up again but no luck. It makes me wish i would of got a bypass valve now.

hope you didnt break anything.

you should try pulling out the spark plugs, then crank the engine. hopefully that blows all the water out. and then dry the plugs and try to start it up.

My friend did the same thing, let it sit overnight and flush out all the oil.

Good luck

My car is fine! I woke up early and went to my friends house to work on it and we pulled the spark plugs dried it out as much as we can, and it started once we put them back in. After that i just let it run for about 15 min to get all the water out and now it runs fine. I got lucky and im definitely getting a bypass valve now.
