brakes..........
My 96 integra was making a metal scraping noise from the driver side. I took off the rim and there was some green grease all over the back of the rim...DOes anyone know what the problem is?? and how to fix it?
Either your pads are low, or your dust cover is rubbing up against the rim. My dust cover was rubbing for a while, I think either I, or a shop might have bumped it too hard puttin on and taking off the wheels.
Green grease? Hmmm. Wonder if you have a radiator leak and it's just blowing on the back of the wheel. Is there anything green anywhere else?
If there's grease, you may also have a busted brake line. Can you find a source for the grease and get back to us?

How much is it to replace a cv boot at the shop and how much is it if i replace it myself? I think it is a cracked cv boot. I looked behind the rotor and it does look like there is a crack on the cv boot, but then i peeled the little rusted metal off and it didn't look cracked anymore. So i'm not sure..I made sure that i tighten the wheel and it stoped make a loud scraping noise but still makes a quiet noise of scraping.
