ok my 91 LS teg is burning oil once i hit 4k leaving from dead stop. its not a huge whilte cloud but u can see the blueish smoke. also i can smell oil burning when i drive it hard, or let it ride past 4k. dont think i fried a piston ring an i belive my head gasket is good cuz im not gettin oil in my antifreeze an my oil has no bubbles in it. friend of mine says just add in additive to the oil, like lucas an it should go away. any ideas?

165k on the engine. components arent that bad shape.
