are you sure its an LS dont forget they had the special editon that year which was basicially an LS with GS-R wheels and leather interior.

 

I have a 98 GSR black on black cloth.

 

What does it mean when people say DC2, DB2???

 

my friends 97 GSR has balck interior aswell. As far as the full interior parts, if you bought all of them seperately, youre looking at least a G i would think. cause even if you get them used, parts are gonna cost out the ass, unless you can find someone who has stripped their entire interior. if you really want to swap out allthe interior youd be better off to find a completly totaled car with good interior, and then youll have plenty of extra parts as well. i know someone that picked up a totalled 03 cavalier for like 300 bux. so you might look into finding a totaled car.

 

DC2 is the chassis code for a 3rd gen GS-R coupe, while DC4 is the chassis code for a 3rd gen RS/LS/GS coupe.

DB2 doesn't exist (atleast not for 3rd gen tegs), but DB8 is the chassis code for a 3rd gen GS-R sedan, while DB7 is the chassis code for a 3rd gen RS/LS/GS Sedan.

 

Yeah sorry it is the special edition, i am however happy to know what exacly they had more. According to the insurance it is actually a LS SE.
