Thinking about getting a 97 gsr
I found what seems to be a nice gsr, haven't actually seen it yet. But anyways it has about 46k, 2dr hatchback and its a manual. And they are asking $8,600/best offer. Minor problem is I don't know how to drive a stick.
Except for a lesson a friend gave me a few summers ago. I was thinking about getting a winter beater first to learn manual but I dont think I will have time before the car gets sold. What would you do or what could I do?

If you buy a beater to learn stick, you're going to end up wasting money on that because you'll be wanting the GS-R right after. I was in the same boat as you and I didn't know how to drive stick. But I just learned on the GS-R and was glad I didn't buy a beater to start with.
Yeah i bought my GSR and learned stick on it...at first it was frustrating but after like a week I was already racing haha. Dont go for a shitmobile in the beginning, you learn stick too fast and you will wanna dump it.
