Type R swaybar
hi, anyone knows that Type R swaybar on a LS or GSR need custom job or direct bolt on? if it is not direct bolt on, what kind of job i need to do and how hard is that? thanks!!
You'll need either a beaks or bsq mounting kit.

95% bolt on if you are going to do it right. meaning using a drill to enlarge a couple holes for the reinforcement kit.

I thought the rear was the direct bolt on with the kit to reinforce and prevent pullout, not sure about the front one. A lot of the suspension bits on the ITR are more different than you would imagine. If you have an LS, you might want to do the strut tower bar first, you could probably get a GSR one for next to nothing

however, the reason the new one does include the tie bar is because it acts as its own chassis reinforcement, so a beaks kit isnt necessary. the tie bar mounts to the frame of the car, and then the sway bar mounts to the tie bar. there are a few other designs out there that are similar to this, but comptech makes the largest bar. and shit, its comptech. you know its good shit.
the other companies that i know of that make one like this are suspension techniques and SRR.
