Default Changing Gauges

Hello this is my first post and I am somewhat new to the world of cars.

I have a 1990 Acura Integra GS 4d, and I'd like to put in some reverse glow gauges, but before a purchase them I was wondering how much work is required to switch them, and if its a job I can safely do. So If anybody could give me instructions on how to open up my dash and switch those out it would be great.

Thanks in advanced,
~Steve

Well, the gauges I'm looking at are complete gauges not overlays so... I think the needles would have to come off to change those, is there a safe way to remove them and put them back in?

The needles DO NOT COME OFF! If you try to take them off you will break them! I have never heard of any replacement reverse glow gauges, only overlays. If they are overlays be careful sliding them over the needles and I suggest not using crazy glue to secure them, get a bottle of rubber cement and glue them with that that way if you ever want to take them off you still can and also remove the glue too.

Your right, my mistake I got confused by the wording of the add. Bur are you sure I need glue? It looks like the screw holes line up, shouldn't that be enough?

The gauges and needles are carefully balanced so that they work properly. Trying to remove them and put them on somewhere else will inevitably ruin them. Why not do something more useful like putting in a usable mod like an intake or something of the sort?

The overlays sometimes don't sit flat against the origional faces especially during the warmer months when the windows are closed up and it gets about 130 degrees inside the car!

What intake would you suggest? How much would it cost? Where can I get my hands on it?
