Smart to move up from a 55shot to a 75?
Hey I have a 90 GS, old motor but still very strong. I have been running a 55 shot with ZEX dry kit for about a month now, and have had no problems...except excessive wheel spin
Hehe anyways, I'm thinking of bumping it up to a 75 shot. I've heard Dubster say that a 75 shot is perfectly safe if it's set up right.
FYI, I have not blown any smoke while running the 55 shot.
I have 1 degree colder plugs, and Antietam said that NGK doesn't make 2 degree colder ones (atleast for my car). I know that for a 75 shot, 2 degree colder is recommended.
I also know that you need to retard the timing 4 degrees. What do you nitrous guys use, a timing gun? Would investing in an MSD digital ignition controller be worthwhile?
Anyone have any opinions about stepping up to a 75 shot? Would a 65 shot be a good bit safer than a 75? Thanks.
