Default ways to incrase horsewpower and torque

I know this has been asked several times on the board, but any way, what are some ways to increase horsepower and torque on an 91 integra with a b18a other then using turbo,a super charger or nitrous?

I know some things, but I want to hear everyones answer.

thanks.

Intake/Header/Exhaust, retard timing, High Profile Cams, High COmpression Pistons, Upgraded Valve-train, NOS stickers, altezza tailights, 19 inch rims that won't fit, fire extinguisher on ur door panels, paint the inside of ur car, neon lights underneath, 6 foot wing, and maybe an automatic transmission.

intake/header/exhaust, hi-flo cat or no cat if you can get away with it. performance cams or some out of a 92-93 are more aggressive and will gain a little bit. remove ac and power steering. strip car...if not completely just the stuff that is unneccesy.

to increase power and torque, you need to shove more air into the engine. but since you want to do it without forced induction, you have to allow the engine to breathe better.

easier and cheapest thing to do is to do the traditional bolt ons. granted they will only net you a solid 7-10 hp, the bolt ons are needed if you ever want to do any internal work.

basic bolt ons include: an aftermarket intake arm and filter, a more free flowing header, a bigger cat and b-pipe, and a free flowing muffler.

then if you want to do small internal work, you can get some more aggressive camshafts and a bigger intake manifold.
