I have a different view on this. If you plan to track/autox every weekend, you'll be eating up pads and rotors like none other. Thus, a lot of ppl use cheap brembo blanks that are inexpensive to replace.
Slotted rotors really don't fit in anywhere...pricier to replace if you compete often but overkill for street use....unless you want them for the blangin' factor.
Axxis Ultimates, Hawks HPS; both are good street pads that are suitable for light competition duty. I have the Axxis metalmasters and minus the excessive brake dust they've performed admirably.
I think the general agreement here is that cross-drilled = scat.

Go with Brembo Blanks, they're like $26 a piece. They'll stop you better than you need to..
Hawk HPS pads or EBC GreenStuff. Either of those pads will work fine...
You could always get powerslots too
