50% on the fronts and 30% in the back and quarters looks respectible. Anything darker imo is too dark, especially when your backing the car up at night, and its harder to see cops when its darker than 30%. 50% on the fronts basically just to give the car a smoother look than having no tint at all. Anything darker on the fronts seems too dark to me. A bonus to the tint on the passengers windows is that it will reduce the glare from headlights on your side view mirrors.

Tint really should be on all cars just because it helps with the heat, privacy, and glare from headlights.

Well, I have 5% limo tint on the back windows and I have never actually used the rear defroster (even when normal people would have to without tint). I think it's cause I've gotten used to the tint bring so dark that a little clouding of the windows doesn't affect it at all.

Tint is good.

I recommend doing 35% or 50% on the fronts and either 5% or 20% on the back. It keeps the interior temperature down A LOT during hot weather. Your A/C also cools the car quicker.

Why different tinting between the front and the back? Is there any logic behind it?

Tint your windows. It makes the car look better and keeps the heat down. I can't stand being in a car without tint.

I've never had a problem with my tint and rear defroster. I have 7% and have never had any kind of problems. You get used to how dark the tint is and after a little while you don't even notice how dark the tint is at night.

The defroster works fine with the tint on the rear window. I use it alot in the winter no problem.

I keep the tint in the rear window lighter because with 7% stuff you can't see behind you very well when backing up, and you also can't see if there is a...cop or something back there that shouldn't be there. Don't think that you can't "see" things back there, its just darker and makes it more difficult to identify a cop and a crown vic with grandpa driving it. (shotgun in the window but its dark in the vic's and dark tint I can't see shotgun or interior light bar)
