Default chipped obd1 or stand alone

I hope george or rj gets in on this. guys I'm going to be getting comptech longtub race header and intake but my exhaust system will not have the cat. so my question is should i buy stand alone and tune it or a chipped obd1 and what kind? I'll be driving the car mostly daily and racing HPDE with nasa once a month or so.

I have never used an untunable chip like Mugen or Kenji's.

What I do have is a cheap Hondata that transformed my car. It was much more pleasant to drive on both street and track after Sakai tuned it.

My car's in the middle of a rebuild that will involve slightly higher compression and bigger pistons, and the cheap Hondata will be retuned to handle the changes.

I have nothing bad to say about preprogrammed chips, but I sure have a lot of good to say about Hondata.
