The Yokohama AVS ES100 tire is a great tire in "bang for the buck". Does it give as much dry performance as the very best tires around, like the RE010 or F1 GS-D3? No, but it doesn't cost as much, either. And it lasts a long time, and does well in rain, too. And it comes in the stock 195/55-15 size for the ITR. Around $58/tire at the Tire Rack.

I use the RE010 on my ITR, because I want to maximize the handling and performance. I use the ES100 on my GS-R, where performance is a concern but so are price and practicality.
