Update: It seems that I was not properly jumping the pins, tried again with a smaller paper clip and got a code 71, random misfire cyl 1... I think.

Should I worry? Should I replace the plugs?

No series of long and short flashes like I was expecting.

Does this mean that the event or problem that caused the light is no longer present? Did the check engine light just reset when I jumped the pins in the harness?
