Default water in trunk

hey can anyone tell me how to get rid of the water that gets in the trunk of my integra. I have a 1997 GSR and everytime I wash the car I get a pool of water where the spare is. I dont know how it gets there and was wondering if anyone knows how to get rid of it. the seals look pretty good and I was maybe thinking that it might get in through the wing.

It's probably your sunroof drain tube that's disconnected. You'll need to reconnect.

A few things can cause that. The sunroof drain as mentioned, which is unlikely, the hatch seal, and the taillight seals. Have you ever taken off the taillights? If so, that's probably it. If not, it may be the hatch seal or sunroof drain, but it's odd to think a car as new as a '97 woud be doing that.

well im thinking it might be the taillight seals cause the whole car was put together from scratch. the car is salvaged because the whole thing was stolen. so rebuilt from scratch. and if it is the sunroof drain how can I check it and replug it if necessary.

If you didn't use new taillight gaskets, that's probably why.

The only way to check on the sunroof lines is to strip the interior to where you can see the connections to the sunroof drains (behind the headliner) and where it dumps behind the rear quarterpanels.

same thing ahppened to my 90 the DAY I was selling it. While I was cleaning out the water, I dislodged something from this drainhole at the bottom, and all the water drained out. So, see if there's a drainhole in the bottom that's clogged.

Default where to buy?

heya everyone!

sorry to bring back an old thread, but I just bought a 1990 Integra and the tail lights are leaking in the trunk. I would like to know where I could find some new gaskets and how much could it cost? I'm sorry but I'm a total newbie when it gets to find parts like this

thanks, viz
