nah its a prep and paint job.... Todd got his for really cheap cuz the guy said it would bring him business (if you saw the paint, you'd know why) he didnt make a dime on it, especially cuz the paint didnt stick the first time and he had to strip it all over again and repaint

the guy first told me 1800 i was like uhmmm no i wasnt lookin to spend so much so he asked what i was looking to spend, i said 1000 or less he said 1300 is the best i can do. he said expect to need 4 pints @ 60 per pint.... he will guarantee the paint not to flake or fade

also, the standard of living in this area isnt at its all time high so price of everything is a little cheaper here (except for gas and cigarettes cuz we are #2 in taxes, only behind you cali's)

Idono if its just me, but that sounds like a lot imo.

My friend just got his teg painted championship white for $560 (I think 4 coats of white and 3 clear or something like that) they sanded and masked it too. It looked good and for another $100 they could have put some kind of "glass coat" on.

He got it done in San Diego, ill ask him tomorrow for the shop and the location.

Plus has no one ever hear of Maaco? You can get your car painted for $250 bux, but it wont be sanded, just painted over.

1300 for paint and prep, including removing small dents sounds good. 60 a pint sounds a little steep for paint, but with the overall price I guess it doesn't matter. I got the same thing done for 1200, but that's cheap around here. Another place would have charged closer to 1800. What colors are you looking at by the way?

Exactly...you can pay $250 for a Maaco paint job, but that's exactly what you'll get...a $250 paint job. Seriously...if you pay somebody UNDER $800 for an All-Over paint job...including Sanding, Pounding out dents, bondo-ing, and final prepping...you're going to get a shitty job. That $1,300 is a really fair price. (IMO)

Steep? Yeah right, for Milano Red?? Red's are always expensive... I would say for $1300 it sounds like a great deal, I'd go for it. I say that mainly because as someone said earlier, a $500 paint job is a $500 paint job..You get what you pay for....
