a few itr header ??'s

Default a few itr header ??'s

I was hoping someone could tell me what years the ITR had a 4-2-1 style header. Also, what was the collector size for them. And even though these weren't tested here , can I still assume I would notice a performance gain with them? Is there just one O2 sensor and is it located at the bottom collector near the cat?

I have a g2 teg and I know a few other g2ers that have installed both the jdm itr 4-1 and the dc jdm itr 4-1 header and have gotten good gains with them. Problem is they've had to cut a notch in the crossmember and worry about ground clearance. That's why I'm hoping to pick up a jdm itr 4-2-1 and give it a shot.

I believe that the usdm ITR's are 2 1/4" and the JDM are 2 1/2 " outlet...... And they had the same ehaust manifold for all years of North American ITR's

Thanks, are you saying that all usdm ITR's had the 4-2-1 design?

i believe only the JDM R's had the 4-2-1 manifold. everywhere else had a regular cast iron manifold. correct me if i'm wrong.

that sounds right

i believe it was 96 JDM ITR's had the 4-2-1 tubular headers... and 98+ JDM ITR's had the 4-1 tubular headers

All USDM ITR's have the 4-2-1 cast iron crap =)

Yeap...all the usdm R's had the 4-2-1 cruddy header here...while the only JDM 1 4-2-1 design was in the 96 R...all other Jdm R's have the 4-1 design...=)..
