well if you get a JDM header you are going to have to also buy a cat. I got my JDM DC stainless steel for $399 shipped and paid $212 for my SMSP cat and JDM donut. I really like the set up, but the butt dyno didnt 'feel' a big improvement. Im running rich as hell though so with some massive fuel tuning i think ill see a major improvement. My verdict 2.5" collector >>> 2.25" collector. What kind of exhaust are you running?

(not being an ass just a picky little bitch but you're only running a header, not headers) anyway...nice setup but the greddy is (dont quote me on this) a 2.25" exhaust but takes the bottlenecks out. You might see a 4whp gain for about $600 bucks. You can get a ceramic JDM DC for $300 + shipping but IMHO spend your money on some fuel tuning (V-AFC2 or a hondata). Im running a 5zigen fireball but its 2.25, but I went from the stock header to a JDM DC...now i wish i had bought a T1R exhaust (2.5"), it would have been a lot louder but better gains...in my case, money well spent on the header. now i just need new tires and some fuel tuning I (like 80% of other Rs out there)

Ok, first not to give 98CW a hard time but DC JDM header shoudl cost under $300 and you can find carsound cats for around $120 from places like Hybrid Garage.

Yes it is worth it if you are going to modify things further and if you are tuning you are on your way.

Consider the oem jdm 4-1 since the clearance is better than that of the DC header.
