Default DC5 Rims????

I just trashed two of rims on my itr.... Thank God there was no frame/Sus damage. While looking for some new rims I came across a set of DC5 white itr rims... I'm looking for some opinions... My R is black(bfp). I'm thinking I would paint them Gunmetal or a bronze... Let me know guys?? I'm pretty sure the bolt pattern is the same. 17inch wheels shouldn't be a problem...

Thanks

Tristan

I guess people are witholding their opinions mostly because it just is a matter of opinion.

The wheels will fit, and it's just a matter of opinion whether you want 17", whether you want to put DC5 wheels on your DC2 ITR (some would consider that anathema), and even whether there's any point in painting them.

I mean, after all, a lot of us have white Kosei as spares or track wheels, anyway.

Now that I think about it, I'll have a set of white SSR Type C's and a set of white Kosei for my black ITR...and I don't worry about it one bit.

dc5 wheels in gunmetal or painted bronze will look real tough, i like that idea. your rims that are trashed, are they the stock usdm itr wheel gunmetal? because if so why not think about just replacing the two trash rims with two oem wheels, it saves you money, but thats assuming you did have the oem usdm wheels.

This is more appearance forum material, IMO.
