Default painting stock sideskirts

i tried to search "painting stock sideskirts" to my surprise, i only got 3 results and they were all for OEM body kits....

so quick question, will paint hold to the black plastic sides and front lip? i was looking at my car today and thought why the hell not use the stuff i already have if they are paintable... probably gonna make a body shop run pretty soon here to get a fresh coat and clean up some of the surface rust that is coming around before it engulfs my car

thanks

Yes, the paint will stay......

You could also paint the hub caps, the side black lines on the doors, and it should all stay.....(just need to get it professionally done)

don't have to primer it first....just make sure you sand it really well. Primer is used for mostly protection against rust. Just take some 500 grit sandpaper and stand down the scratches and pits first (if any)...then switch to 320 grit and finish up. then you're ready to tape up and paint.
