DC OEM carbon fiber hood owners...advise please
I'm in the market for an OEM style CF hood to replace my paint peeling stock metal one. Those who have these: what brand? price? fitament issues? where'd you buy it? quality? recommendations please! thanks.

i didnt see what brand it is,but a guy i know bought a generic one and it warped in less than a month, u might just want to spend the xtra cash and get a good brand with a warranty

I wouldnt want to be the guinea pig with a CF hood. Look for a solid latch (not just some metal piece screwed in), rolled edges, clearcoat, tight weave, etc.
I would try and get something proven. If you know anyone in your area that wants a hood as well, you can save on shipping bigtime. They may sell for $315 +$150 shipping, but if you get 4 hoods to the same addy, you'll pay $200 for shipping and they may drop it to $300 a hood. Then you pay $350 shipped...its a good way to save you and some buddies a lot of loot. Bulk shipping on hoods isnt much more at all. If they have to ship one, may as well ship more.
