odometer cluster stopped working
A friend of mine's integra(97 LS auto) odometer stopped working. We've checked all the fuses and they are ok. Everything else works fine even the trip meter. The last digit on the odometer moves really slow once in a while. Any sensors that we can check or is the only solution a new one? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Eek. So the speedo works as well? That's a new one by me....but it would seem to indicate a failure inside the odometer -- as opposed to the speedo cable breaking.
Hmm..... Perhaps a salvage yard? :dunno: There's probably some legal issues concerning mileage accuracy and what-not. Sorry I can't be of greater assistance.

At any rate, since the trip meter and speedo are still functioning (it seems), my earlier comment still stands: most likely, there's a component failure internal to the odometer.
