Default Rattle when shifting

I get an odd rattle when I engage/disengage the clutch. I can hear the rattle right at the top of the pedal travel - i.e. if i apply just a little pressure to the clutch I will start to hear it. It is more noticeable in 2nd/3rd/4th gear than 5th.

I had this video saved, not sure what it was from but the rattle you hear when shifting is identical to what I am hearing, although I think mine is louder. This is not my video

Ideas? Throw Out bearing?

Thanks!

Can't tell from the video

and I forgot if it was the TOB if the sound went away when the clutch was depressed or not.

Sorry, hope someone else can help more. But I do remember reading the symptoms of the TOB going awhile ago.

I thought those symptoms were signs of a spring issue....
and that TOB was odd engagement/disengagement.

I could be wrong...

RJ... did you ask WillErd or Asspenny? Craig knows all when it comes to clutches and issue with thems.

Hmm, sounds like exactly the opposite noice my clutch is making. When I disengage the clutch after shifting into a gear 2nd 3rd and 5th mostly, I hear a weird churning/rattling noise.

65K on the car.

The clutch engages fine, so i'm hesitant to pull it out. Although I'm lazy and dont want to do the joaerb twice.

For whatever it's worth, RJ, that's about the time my OEM clutch was replaced.
