Default fuel problems help !

ok, i have had this problem for a while...

I have a 96 teg AUTO and i can't boost pass 5lbs of boost cause i lean out. i have a vortech 10-1 fmu, and a MSD inline fuel pump but still lean out. the wastegate is set at 9.7 but never got that high. the vacum to the wastegate is running from the turbo. the hightest i ever boosted was 7 and that was because i removed the vaccum line to the wastegate. I'm thinking of my wastgate opening to soon but that doesn't explain me leaning out ...

I want to buy a new FPR since i still have the stock one and some injectors but can't i fix this problem before i do that ?

Well since your engine is starving of fuel, you should double check if you tapped a good source for the fuel pump. It may not be on at all or running at a low voltage. Connect your vaccum line to your wastegate, it's not a good idea to leave that thing unhooked unless after you fix your problem and experience unlimited boost.

There's nothing wrong with his fuel rail he has now. His fuel injectors should be capable of handling this.

the problem is that it starts to lean out at 4lbs.. i doubt its my fuel pump. the wastegate is still vaccum with the turbo. I'm thinking i should lower my fuel pressure cause on the gauge it shows rich. and maybe stock fuel pressure + a 10-1 fmu is just to much pressure for an automatic computer ? i dont know alot of shops are curious as well

Your computer does not regulate how much fuel goes into your motor, that's your fuel pressure regulator's job. Put your idle fuel pressure back to stock if it isn't already. Again, like I said before check your fuel pump. Just because it's on there doesn't mean it's guaranteed to work. Bad wiring of the pump is common during these installs.
