Default 1999 integra Drop Question

I am thinking about dropping my car maybe by 2 inches, what suspension what do you recommand, I don't want to go too crazy and get the best one in the market, just as long as it's stable, has a smooth ride..

I will also be getting some rims.... what looks better on a 99 white teg? 16 inches or 17 inches with the 2 inches drop.

if you have any pics of drops, please post it..

Thanks all.

With that kind of drop 17"s would look nice. Although with it comes issues like ground clearance and camber

my friend has some Tokiko shocks on his ride and he seems to like them pretty good. I've rode in it and it does ride pretty smooth. If you lower it 2 inches, I'd recommend 16's with maybe 45 series tires, and if you go for 17's, I'd look into getting a Camber Kit.

well, you're going to have to buy a camber kit either way you go. i would stick with 16's if you're planning on racing in the future. if not, what the heck, go with 17's they look nice. with both of these sizes you can afford a 2 inch drop and still have good ground clearance. just make sure you have the rims on before you drop it. if you drop it 2 inches and still have the stock 14's or 15s, you'll scrape.

i've got 16's with ground control coil overs on eibach springs. its a stiff ride, its smooth, but of course it does bounce some. my car is dropped 2 inches and i clear everything pretty well, the wheels do not scrape. and it looks sweet!

I'm lowered about 1.6" inches on 16's with 205/45R16 tyres. No scraping problems here either.

There's a bazillion and one ways to lower the car. Most work pretty well.

As for wheels, whether or not 17s look good is a subjective judgement of aesthetics. I think they don't look good, and the lower the car is the worse they look.

Aside from that the tires are more expensive, thinner, and the wheels are more expensive to keep equivalently low weight to a 16". It's a small car, 16" wheels look just fine.
