Exhaust questions
What are the measurements on the cat and catback? I don't know them off the top of my head...
And is that an OEM JDM header or DC JDM header?
Edit: You'll be shooting yourself in the foot with anything below 2.5" exhaust SYSTEM....that's header, high flow cat, and catback.
You'll get gains out of a 2.25 and 2.36, but if you want to maximize your exhaust flow, try to make it 2.5" the whole way back. (Yes this will be more costly.)

You have a lot of different sizing there....which will probably create some exhaust flow turbulence....you don't want that....
You have two choices....
1. Go with the same size the whole way back....example; 2.5" header, 2.5" cat, and 2.5" catback.
2. Increase or have a "stepped" design....example: 2" header, 2.25" cat, 2.36" exhaust.
I wouldn't recommend different sizes throughout the exhaust system like you are planning. But that's just me...
Sometimes when people just throw parts on and they don't worry about sizing, they don't get the results they were expecting, and they find they've wasted a lot of money. They learn their lesson though. Good idea asking first, that's the first step to learning. =)

the only reason i was going to do the t1r b-pipe (2.5) to the spoon N-1 (2.36) is because ive heard a lot of good things about that kinda setup... but i was wondering if anyone had that exact system and could pretty much vouch for it ...if ya know what i mean
Yup, I understand, but at the same time...these are basic exhaust flow principles. When it hits the 2.5" b-pipe, do you think it will want to go back to 2.36? It's going to stagnate in here and disrupt the exhaust flow.
I'm just trying to help ya man.

Hello,i'm new here and from i'm from Belgium(don't mind my bad english).
I have a 98 itr (stock) and planning to put these things up the R:
-DC 4-1 with 60,5mm coll.
-spoon b-pipe(60.5mm)
-sms testpipe
-spoon n1 exhaust
-spoon airfilter
Is this a good setup and is the hp increase somewhere around the 10-15 bhp?

The key is having the 2.5" collector on the header and a 2.5" inlet/outlet catalytic or testpipe to get the most power. Although a true 2.5" exhaust will give the best flow, the differences over a 2.36" (60mm) which is the more common JDM sized exhausts, will be very small if any. I'd think a true 2.5" exhaust would only net substantial gains on a highly modified motor... hell ive seen some cars pull nearly 190whp on the stock cat-back exhaust before.
"I'd think a true 2.5" exhaust would only net substantial gains on a highly modified motor"
Whaaaa? A true 2.5" exhaust like Hytech nets usually 190 whp with an extremely broad torque band....
Find me a dyno of someone making 190 whp on the stock exhaust with only intake header and cat....you'll be looking for a while...
2.5" is the way to go.

Thanks,2.5 is the way to go  but i love the spoon stuff (and this will by the only mods so i will go with the spoon stuff, like you say the diffrince will be a little)
Exspasialy the spoon n1(sleeper),do any of you have a soundclip of the spoon n1. (i tried the search option but nothing of the spoon n1  )
greetzzz
