OK, this is prolly gonna sound stupid but i need to change the drive belts on my car and i need some help. First off, should i bother trying to do this myself or is it gonna be too much of a pain in my ass. I bought the belts already cuz a guy i worked with said he would be able to put em on for me. Then he quit and now his phone is disconnected and i cant get ahold of him. So all i really want to know is if i should bother trying to do this since i have no mechanical abilities or should i just take it somewhere and spend the money that i dont have on it. By the way I am in Kansas City so if anyone on here is from this area that could help me out that would be awesome. Any advice would be great.

You can do it yourself, but it can be a rather involved project. Any mechanically inclined friends that can help you out? BudMan may be able to give you the name(s) of some shop(s) in your area. He lives on Olathe, but I don't know how far that is from you.
