Don't rely on the shift light!

 

ended up in getting a greddy digital tach (looks like a boost controller) with a small light that's about the size of a double A battery. reason being is because i have the ability to shift to 11.5grand (which i never do). autometer makes a 12k tach but they're just to big imo, too ricey.

 

I just got my car dyno'd a while back and my chart ran to 8600 before it cut off... though looking at the chart my peak hp stopped at 8100-8200 ish so I now shift at about 8200 since thats my peak hp spot... no point in going any higher if I'm gonna lose a few hp points.
