I found this lovely ITR on ebay the other day. I asked the seller why they had a different engine and according to them the other engine threw a rod. Have any of you ever thrown a rod and then completely replaced the engine and tranny because of it? It sounds a bit fishy to me. Thanks..

 

throwing a rod would require to rebuild or replace the motor. It has nothing to do with the tranny.

Orange, eh? I'd get some more detailed pics of the VINs if you get serious about bidding. I like how he calls the stock seats Recaros as well...
