Using CTR cams on B18C5....
#2
Correct me if I'm wrong, though 2000-2001 ITR cams are identical to the CTR's I beleive so there wouldn't be any reason to change them..
a better question might be, "is it really worth buying 00-01 ITR cams if you are currently running the 97-98 cams? Is there a noticable difference between the older year cams vs. the newer years?"

I'll see if I can set this straight. CTR is still slightly but not noticably more agressive than a 2000/2001 ITR cam. If you have a 2000/2001 don't bother it isn't worth it.
Now, I have a 1998 Type-R and I did put in a new 2001 Intake cam and it made about 5-6 whp. I list a range to take into consideration error. I paid $290 for my brand new intake cam and I sold my old 98 intake cam for $200 so I picked up a lot of power for $90.
THis is not a bad option for 97/98 owners wanting to stick with stock camsl. I would say but whatever is cheaper between the 200/2001 ITR cam and a CTR cam. It doesn't really matter.

So, for best bang for the buck, I'd say 00-01 ITR cams. And you can make some nice power with OEM cams, but I do like the big non-vtec lobes on the toda b/c :P
