Insurance for a 17 year old kid

Hey whats up I am 17 and hopefully about to get my license and I love Honda Cars And I want a Acura Integra I was wondering if that would be practical for me considering I dont have much money because of my age.
I was hopping someone could recommend a honda/Acura Car that would be cheap for me to keep on the road I know a Integra might be to steep for me to afford. Or maybe just stay with the Integra

Stay in your budget. When I was 17, I drove a 74 Plymouth Duster that I bought for $300. That was 16 years ago. If I were 17 now, I would definitely buy a Honda, they get great gas mileage, are very dependable and fun to drive, and once you can afford it they are easy to modify.
I would look for 91 CRX si or a 93 Integra GSR, or 94-95 GSR if you can afford it. Good luck

biggest bang for the buck... by the bottom line honda, say like a 92-95 honda hatchback VX (reason I say VX is there easier for what I'm getting to) anyhow, get your VX for like 3000-4000 if even that, then save up, or go buy (funds available of course) a B series motor (B16, B18, vtec something) and swap it in the VX. Now your insurance is very low cause your insuring a bottom line car, though you have a swap making the car somewhat fast. You'll definately be pleased.... Good Luck...

yeah i would definatly go with an older civic 92-95 then just save up and you can get a decent engine for around 3000 and then put it in there it wil be such a change from the stock engine. and you might also be able to beat some integras because the civic is alot lighter than the integras.

Let's just say you decide on a simple JDM LSD B16 (@$2800 shipped) from hmotorsonline.com (great little motor btw) and you swap that into your VX hatch. You'll run between 14.0-14.5 all motor stock without doing anything to it with decent track practice... That right there is about a full second faster than any GSR or Civic SI is gonna run even with I/H/E... add say a 55 shot of nitrous to that motor and you're in the high 13's... Trust me, a hatch with only a b16 and bolt ons will walk all over any factory GSR/Si with there I/H/E.... with enough practice, you'll be able to beat R's down the track... and best thing of all, your insurance will be cheap cause its a low model honda.

Buy a CRX or an older hatch until you get a little older, run the SOHC motor for a while until you get really good at driving, then step up to something fast. Car control skills are much easier to learn when the limits of adhesion is slower and lower. I drove an 81 Escort when I was 16, it was a POS but it taught me great lessons in car control. If I was in something that was faster and meaner I would have had a much shorter life. But I am crazy also :lol: Buy a slow car and beat it is my advice, then go out and get something nice once you know how to drive good. It worked great for me.....
