Code 9 =
CYP Sensor (Cylinder) defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor
* invalid code for throttle body injection Hondas
** invalid code for V6 engines

Find the sensor in a manual then make sure yours is plugged in and working

I had that code when I lost my distributor.

I'd take the distributor cap and rotor off and inspect your distributor assembly. In my case, the rotor screw came loose and rattled around for a while I'm sure causing damage to the inside of the distributor. I got the code after the car begin to miss intermittenly. By that point, it was too late, I needed a new distributor.
