I'm trying to get better light. I tried to install the high-beams in the low-beam socket to try to get an idea of how it would look. It didn't fit b/c there is a piece of extra plastic on it from the factory to prevent such ideas. Anyways, i left the bulb in without locking it place and took a look....

It's brighter than the low beams (of course), but less bright than the highbeams. I guess the low-beam lamp filters out some of the light. So, i'm guessing it would be the amount of light i'm looking for without blinding people.

Anyone try this yet?
Safe?
Will they blow sooner?
Will the low-beam harness be able to hanlde them...they're 65W (vs 55W.)

I know i could modify the bulb to get it to fit right.

any input is appreciated. TIA!
