Hi guys,

I was wondering if there is any known way to disable this "feature" of the Canadian ITRs to run the darn lights 24/7. Yes yes I know it's added safety but I'd prefer to have some control over when the lights are running etc. etc.

Anyone have any idea how to disable it?

Before anyone chimes in, I'm in the US...so no, it isn't illegal for me to do this.

There is a way to do it, but I'm not sure how. Sorry

Well, I'm glad there is a way to do it. I'll ask the mech at the dealership I'm having the car checked at before I buy it. It doesn't kill the deal or anything for me, but I'd like to disable it if I can.

Funny how you want to disable it while many US members want to add it.

I have an '01 Canadian ITR and it has the lights, I think there is a specific fuse for the DRL under the hood, I can check and write back. If there is a fuse for the DRLs, than you can just pull the fuse-it should be that easy

I have also heard of a fuse powering the DRL. Can you get back to me on what amp they are? Thanks.
