Wait just under 50k miles its still on warranty, right? Anyway I would have them do it for free. If they give you a hard time ask them for the manager...if he's on that BS too...ask him for there 1 800 customer service number and ask him his dealership number...that always gets them worried. Make sure to ask him for his whole name. Make a complaint I bet you'll get a call back with a sorry please bring your car in within a week or so. Good luck. If they hook you up then cool but if not I love my ACT clutch...

A clutch wearing out is not a warranty issue.

Not on a wear item (I.e. Tires, Brakes, clutch)

Acura will, at times, cover a clutch if there are no signs of abuse and it is failing becuase of broken springs, which does not seem to be the case here. So, in this case, I doubt acura will cover it.

Let's face it. You never know what a dealer's gonna do.

One service manager will do it, the next one will not.

No.

My stock tires wore out in under 6000 miles.

Would you consider that a warranty issue?

Well, yeah your gas runs out too...that's not something going bad. His clutch shouldn't go bad that soon if it does I'm sure most dealers will fix it. Specially if his car is dam near stock

He's wondering whether you are a warranty issue.
