Well something to think about if you upgrade your axles its going to look for the next weakest link to break and that's the differentials now that can be costly....more then a axle. Now as far as power I really don't know...I don't think there really a way to tell how much power the can handle. I was told about a trick racers use to know when its about to break though if you want to know it let me know. You have to go through 2 axles before it can come into play but its a nice little trick.

Well, I've seen a pretty fair amount of cars putting down 3-400 whp without snapping axles, but be that as it may, I've also seen a 180 whp almost stock GS-r snap an axle. It all depends on what kinda circumstances you're talking about. Just don't dump the clutch if you're running slicks, and you'll run a much lower risk of snapping something.

Erik is right though, it's better to have an axle snap than a diff shatter...or worse, an input shaft or something like that...

Later,
Aj

thanx for the reply

since u brought up about the diff breaking.
wat should be upgraded or mod so it would lower
the chance of the diff from breaking.

Well, if you plan to upgrade the axles, you'll want to get like a Quaife limited slip which is helical gear, rather than clutch type, and seems to hold power a lot better...

Good luck,
