I just went to lunch and the R is acting strange. The gear engagement is very difficult (at the shifter) and when I release the clutch the engagement is very rough and abrupt. BTW, the clutch was squeking slightly upon depression. Could it be the spring? I couldn't see any leaks from either cylinder. The car has only 31K.

 

Sounds like you need a clutch, good luck.

BTW I went with the ACT xtss and its very nice even on the street- a hair or two more then the stock (pedal pressure).

 

Yeah, it does, and I'd do it sooner rather than later, so you don't cause some problems in your tranny....
