Ok ihave the 5in sport comp tach and the quick light from auto meter...the tach i got to work fine but have no clue where to start with the shift light...

how there is a plug on the back of the shift light...however i have nothing to plug it into..so im guessing i need to order that other part from auto meter...OR is there i way around it? and when if i do need the other plug where does it go from there?
any help would be great since i cant get auto meters site to download anything about this...

hey man, is this just like a silver edition autometer tach? If so I just put one in my friends civic and how you set up the shift light is to run the white wire to the instrument light fuse, you take the fuse out and push the wire up into the spot, then put the fuse back in over it. The clip on the end of the shift light wire should plug into the one coming off the tach. I hope that I could help you out!

 

Yes its the same tach..BUT not the same shift light that came with the tach....that was ther bigger light..i sodl that one and got the really small one..and ther wires are different..but u gave me a new idea...thanks for the help bro
