Carsound makes a few different sizes for hondas, from 2" to 3" i think. Most ITR guys run 2.5" carsounds or slightly modified ones from SMSP.

A 2.5" cat only bolts directly onto a header with a 2.5" collector (JDM-spec header) and a 2.5" catback. The ITR uses 2" piping all around but I have no clue what a GSR uses.

Yeah, but you'd have to order one from Carsound with different diameter inlet and outlet.

Actually, you're right almost. The header is 2" and the catback is 2 1/4"... one of you guys correct me if I'm wrong

just check with Mike at www.ipsracing.com or Dave at smsproduct@earthlink.com

They can both make custom length cats.

GSR cat is 5" shorter than the ITR, LS, GS, & RS,

Trust me, Whatever you do DO NOT buy a Comptech cat.

First they'll send you a GSR Cat, then they'll double charge your credit card to send you the RIGHT one, and then about 5000 mi. after you put it on, the screens crystalize and cause restriction. Too Bad your in Cali.
I'd sell you my "GUTTED" Comptech, but it wont pass the sniffer test, or whatever it is you call it...
