What companies out there make a 3 inch downpipe for the Integra Type R?
Or do I have to custom make one?

make it custom but I hope you trailer your car EVERYWHERE cause even at stock height that DP will be smashed from bumps in the road

thanks for the info, but how do other car's 3 inch downpipe work then? are they hitting bumps with there's too? there must be a way I can put one on and still make it safe enough not to hit bumps. Also If i make my own custom how much do you think it would run me?

if you could find a way to mount it higher it might work. just ask around what manderal bends cost around you. it will take 3 or 4 bends to make a good DP and retain AC

I made my own, having access to tig welding equipment helps.
I have some pics I can email you, if you want. Your best bet is to design it yourself, know exactly how you want it, then have someone weld it for you, maybe have him just tack the pieces together, then do a test fit, believe me tacks are a lot easier to grind off than complete welds.

Jan explains it well. It is the way to go about it. Again, both our turbo B18's are fitted with 3 inch stainless downpipes, but each are hand fitted.

Hey, if you come up to Montreal, we can fit one on your car while you and I go to the strippers.

You can't keep your AC even if you do hand fit and custom your DP.....

I designed my downpipe (3" mandrel bent) in such a way that I was able to retain a/c, it's a close fit (about 1/8") between the downpipe and the a/c compressor. About a year ago, I ended up pulling the a/c off anyways, because it never got used and it makes it a lot easier to pull the downpipe off without the a/c compressor in place.
