if the JDM ITR Catback would bolt on without any mods? i got a 98 R.

You may need a different cat. Im not 100% on this but the JDM cat is shorter than the USDM cat, plus the piping may be larger on the JDM exhaust.

The cat on a JDM Type R has a 2.5" header inlet but I'm not entirely positive if the outlet and catback are 2.5" as well.

hmm i test fitted the b pipe today and the flange part [3 bolt pattern] on the b pipe is slightly spread further apart than the cats bolt pattern. wat are some ways i can make this setup work??
