Wouldn't it be nice to take an S2000 and put a Civic Sedan body on it???

<dream>

(I know I know -- it wouldn't fit because the S2000 engine bay is longer and the wheelbases aren't the same .....)

Why doesn't Honda sell any frickin' rear wheel drive coupes/sedans ...... geeeeeez

A Civic sedan body? Bro, your aesthetic tastes need improvement. Honda already makes an ultimate vehicle anyways, it's called an NSX And for the racing enthusiasts, the NSX-R

But small high powered RWD sedans === droool

Besides -- the NSX is just Honda showing off what they can do. It isn't a real life "drive to the store" kinda car.

Civics, Accords, Integras ..... that is bread and butter Honda.

Different strokes I guess ...

i work in the automotive industry and i know people at honda. i know for a fact that when the s2000 was first launched, the engineers were studying ways to spawn a fr sedan off of the s2ooo platform. anyone in the automotive indusrty will tell you that it is not cost effective to have a platform that cannot be used to spawn other cars. it's way too expensive and therefore no money in it. i don't know what resulted in those engineering studies but, my bet is that we would should plan on seeing something come off the s2000 paltform but, don't hold your breath. remember how long it took honda to finally build an suv?

Or just a RWD vehicle at all? And now they've got a whopping two vehicles with it :lol:
