Hey everyone, I was wondering what type of sound systems that the various integra models have, particulary the GSR and Type R. By this, I mean how many speakers there are and what size are they. Thanks

Not sure that there are any differences, I know the newer integras all have tweeters in the doors, other than that, I think they've pretty much stayed the same. Honestly though, the stock stereo kinda sux....

The stock system really sucks and is comparable to CRAP.

 

My sound system is my 3inch exhaust at 8000rpm!!

 

To actually answer your question, there are six speakers, two one inch tweets in the doors, and I'm pretty sure the doors were 5.25", but don't remember for sure. Check like Crutchfield or something, they'll know for sure. Just beware, becuase running speaker wire into the doors is a real pain in the ass, and this is coming from someone who used to do the shit for a living.
