i just bought my type R and the tranny making a very weird noise. When im in 5th gear i give it some gas and it sounds like something is spinning. Can it be a bearing or what? i also have a ACT xtreme clutch and flywheel.

Are you asking if it is a spun bearing in the block? That would only happen after an over-rev. And i'm not even sure if it would happen to a b18c5 because of its design. I would think that the head would go before anything in the block.

It cant be the bearing because you can hear it as soon as you turn you car on. It can be a bad clutch" :?: "
