You shouldn not be running a stock ITR valve train with the stage2 cams, your likely to run into some either valve float, or a broken retainer. WIth the stage one cams, you can get away with it, provided you leave your stock rev limiter, but with the stage 2 cams, they're substancially more aggresive.
I tried the stage ones, they're pretty good, but the stage2 cams just put down more power all across the rpm band, and to me seem to be fine at idle and every day drivability. For the most part, I've seen them for the same price, so......
Any way, good luck,
Aj

sounds about right, and though port flo does make a stiffer inner spring for like $80 or something along those lines, and I've heard good things about them, you may actually want to spend a couple extra bucks and go with a whole new set, especially if your factory ITR springs have more than like 40K miles. Either way, up to you, but the retainers are a must!!!
