In case anyone cares, I just installed RC 440cc's on my 2000ITR turbo.
Good thing I'm currently running an APEX'i VAFC, because without it I would be in trouble. The car idles very nicely, air/fuel looks "normal", but, then again here in Michigan it was about 5 degrees (F) last night. I have yet to drive the car, but the first hurdle is over with. I was told by some people that there is no way to get the car to idle without stand-alone. Well, there is. Can't wait for the track (April). Good thing my winterbeater will keep me entertained until then (95 Talon AWD).

Ok, you sparked my curiosity. Please enlighten me, as I am new to the world of VAFC "tuning", if you want to call it that

I don't see how this mod has anything to do with idle fuel settings, from the looks of it, all you are doing is monitoring the primary O2 sensor voltage.

well you are to a point. all you do is wire a sensor check wire to the MAP sensor and trick it so you can run 11psi without a check valve on a stock honda map sensor. on top of that you have better control over the fuel since you are tricking the map sensor.

Well it's March and I finally drove her for the first time since last October. It felt fu****g great!!! I haven't applied the VAFC "hack" yet. I just created a base map, running 440s no FMU. The car ran like total shit at first, then I played around with the VAFC and got it to run pretty well. Drove the shit out of the car keeping an eye on all the parameters, it ran pretty strong, I'm going to set the VAFC according to the "drop shop" method and see how she does. The ECU kept going into limp mode, so I definitely have some "tuning" to do but we'll see tomorrow.

Update!!!!
Ran the "Drop shop" VAFC mod, the car ran fantastic this morning, didn't code at all. All settings at -36% on all maps, stock fuel pressure, no FMU, EGTs at around 1250 at WOT at full boost 7-8 psi. Prodigenous wheel spin in 3rd gear. It feels good!!
