I learned everything I know about turbos from 2 place.


corky bells books "supercharged" and "max boost" - dont bother with supercharged, though, you wouldnt care about most of whats in that book.

Buy the book "Maximum Boost" by Corky Bell. Do searches on turbo at all the forums.

i learned about turbos from this site (thank you), many others (to many to list), and from reading Super Street. yes i know it maybe a ghey mag but it occasionally has good tech articles. check out the august issue for a good write up of turbo basics and different kits.

ok guys i really thank you for posting a few sites and places to learn about turbos. i think since its not gonna cost me as much as i was expecting i might be able to go ahead and slap one on pretty soon like christmas or something but well just have to see wont we. but anyhow i have heard about blockguards and stuff like that where can i learn to build my block up for a turbo.(i want to hit 13's with my teggy my friend that will be helping me thinks that his 350 with slicks has something for me but i dont think he does hehe)

theres a really good book out on turbos... but at this moment the title slips my mind... but anotehr good way is going to forums about turbo cars... www.i-club.com(subaru) www.freshalloy.com(nissan) www.3si.com(vr-4)
when i remember teh name of that book il get back to you

Magazines do help alot, if you check out the last months issue of Import Tuner it has a whole report on How Turbos and Superchargers work and sheit.
